When the owner of the Lipton tea acquired five bankrupted plantations in Ceylon it sparked the start of the companys tea story. Since that decision the Lipton Tea Company has never ceased to produce tea. Clever advertising and attention grabbing names paved way for the products of Lipton Tea Company to become a part of every household. This tea story has hopefully shed light on the long history of tea.
